Project Coordinator

Seeking a project coordinator to assist the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage shop steel and parts inventory
  • Set up fabrication job folders and forms
  • Review customer provided specifications and compare with quotations; resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure long lead-time items have been ordered when each job file is set up
  • Set up drawing packets for CAD department
  • Generate submittal packages complete with catalog cut sheets and drawings
  • Prepare drawing packages for shop fabrication and field installation
  • Prepare requests for quotation and place orders for structural steel
  • Generate Operation & Maintenance Manuals
  • Set up transportation arrangements for fabrication jobs, including: shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading, etc.), request quotes, and coordinate shipping and delivery times
  • Submit and track component warranty claims
  • Order and track lift equipment rentals
  • Conduct pre- and post-installation site visits
  • Serve as the initial project contact person

Responsibilities include: field welding, component assembly and testing of custom equipment.

Requirements: current FCAW and WABO welding cerfications; ability to read blueprints; and available to travel.
